This was one of those spur of the moment restaurant visits. My mother and I were en route to a funeral and we decided to stop and eat just in case there was no vegan-friendly food. My mother picked me up from work and we decided we would stop somewhere that was along the way. I find that usually, Thai, Mexican, and Middle Eastern food tend to be good choices.
The venue does not look like much from the outside. There is a small parking lot adjacent; however, given the size of the restaurant, it’s not much. The restaurant is huge and there are plenty of tables (both tables and bar-type seating). There is a small open-air section covered by an awning. It’s a nice place to sit and people-watch or traffic watch. I believe that there is no air-conditioning, because the inside had several ceiling fans. There are small televisions placed throughout the venue. I must warn you, the music was rather loud making it difficult to converse.
The venue itself was very clean.
As far as menu choices, I would say that this is typical Mexican food. Instead, I will focus on vegan options, since this is what I eat.
Appetizers: Guacamole, Onion Rings, French Fries
Entrees: Burritos, Tacos, Tostadas, Sopes – vegetarian style and make sure to have them remove the cream & cheese
Note that they do have a VEGGIE MENU for breakfast. lunch, and dinner (YAY, thanks !) thatcan easily become vegan friendly with the removal of all dairy.
They have orange, carrot, or apple juice along with the usual fountain drinks.
You order at the register prior to sitting. The employees were all very friendly. The food is brought to your table along with place settings.
