Green Peas is located off of Sepulveda Blvd in Culver City. There is no private parking; however, there is pay per spot street parking on Sepulveda Blvd. and there is also free street parking (double check the street signs) along the residential streets.
There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor searing is very limited, but with the weather that we are blessed with it makes for a great ambiance. There are plenty of tables but no booths. I would say that it is a great venue for parties of 1-5, but anything more would be a bit difficult.
This is a great place to go to with your non-vegan friends. They have sandwiches, salads, pizza, wraps, and other entrees, and then they also have the vegan version of it.
They give hefty portions, so you will always leave full. If you happen to pop in for breakfast, their breakfast potatoes are a must. My sister and I usually order a soup and a salad, when we order to go. My go to – Teriyaki tofu salad. The vegan soup of the day changes, but it’s always tasty. I am not a fan of salty food and I’ve never had an issue with the seasoning of their soup.
Feeling like a naughty vegan? try a quesadilla or a Philly cheese steak sandwich. they are so savory and gooey.
On this particular night, I was being super naughty and I got the Gnocchi with Kale and Garlic bread. It was amazing. The pasta was so creamy and decadent
This is usually the deciding factor for me. While, the staff is very nice, getting your food always takes FOREVER ! If you phone in an order, it will be “20 minutes” that is L.A. time (30-45 minutes). If you dine in – it will be about the same. I’m not quite sure why there’s such a slow turn around time for food. So, ultimately, if you’re looking to have a relaxing meal and time is not of the essence, this is a great place. If you’re in a rush, look elsewhere.
